Compare Sanctuary and Premier Saunas
If you’re choosing infrared saunas for your own home or business then it is critical to figure out which types of saunas are going to be the best for you. Infrared saunas come in many different styles and sizes, and the type of infrared sauna you choose will depend on a few distinct comparisons, namely size, cost, infrared heating method and the aesthetics. Clearlight® Infrared Saunas have 3 sauna types to choose from; the Sanctuary full-spectrum sauna, the Premier far-infrared sauna, and the Outdoor full-spectrum sauna.
What’s the infrared sauna difference?
Clearlight™ has two main categories of infrared sauna types, full-spectrum infrared saunas that utilise near-infrared, mid-infrared and far-infrared heating methods for unrivalled heat-up time, and far-infrared saunas that only use far-infrared electric heater panels for proven health benefits. Clearlight® full-spectrum infrared saunas also come as an outdoor type of sauna and does not have to be installed indoors while providing the same benefits. Four main differences that a buyer needs to be aware of are:
- The aesthetics of infrared saunas
- The technology of infrared saunas
- The cost of infrared saunas
- The sizes of infrared saunas
The aesthetics of modern saunas
Clearlight® Sanctuary Sauna models are a contemporary, Italian-inspired design that boasts the signature tempered glass front and ceiling. This allows sauna bathing to have the environment blend seamlessly with each sauna session. This feature feels stunning, and helps anyone who feels slightly uncomfortable in extended periods of small and high-heat spaces.
Clearlight® Premier Sauna models are a more traditional Finnish sauna design. While it looks like a traditional steam sauna, rest assured it only utilises far-infrared light to produce dry heat for deep relaxation and heat exposure. With just a glazed door on the front, not only does this beautiful sauna complement any cabin, but it also looks fantastic in wood-themed settings.
Infrared Sauna technology
Clearlight® Sanctuary Sauna models are a full-spectrum type of sauna, meaning they use both True Wave® far-infrared heaters and True Wave® full-spectrum infrared heaters. These electric saunas are extremely efficient at heating the body directly instead of heating the air temperature. This means the human body gets hot faster and the hot air in the cabin is bound to lower temperatures. This is optimal for infrared sauna benefits and makes for an enjoyable sauna experience. Sanctuary model also comes with the medical-grade chromotherapy pre-installed, a heat-proof charging station for your smartphone, and wi-fi/Bluetooth connectivity that allows access to the Clearlight® app for remote control from a smartphone device.
A Clearlight® Premier Sauna is a far-infrared sauna, meaning they only use the True Wave® far infrared heater panels, and comes with a standard coloured light options. The radiant heat from sauna bathing in a Premier Sauna provides the most well-documented studies on IR sauna for health benefits such as relaxation and stress reduction, aching joints, blood pressure, and cardiovascular health. Both the True Wave® full-spectrum heaters and the medical-grade chromotherapy can be upgraded on the Premier sauna.
While the look of an infrared sauna comes down to personal preference, the technology inside any Clearlight® Infrared Sauna is second to none when compared to other infrared sauna companies. All Clearlight® Saunas come with an in-built sound systems, tablet holder door handle, and ergonomic seating. Plus a lifetime warranty on any home sauna provided by Clearlight® ensures a quality sauna, time and time again.
Pricing difference of infrared saunas
Clearlight® Sanctuary Saunas range between 20-25% more than the Premier Saunas. This is because of the additional full spectrum heating technology, the glass ceiling and front, the chromotherapy and bluetooth, and on average are slightly larger in size. However, both home saunas are extremely cost-efficient in use because they are electric saunas, making them ideal for regular dry sauna bathing. Clearlight® True Wave® infrared saunas heat can produce high heat temperatures, with minimal heat up time, while reducing the amount of energy to produce heated air for lower temperatures in the cabin, allowing you to experience deep relaxation every sauna session.
Infrared sauna sizes
Infrared saunas come in many different sizes, from a 1-person infrared sauna all the way to a 5-person infrared sauna, however, the Sanctuary Sauna models are slightly larger, per person, than the Premier Sauna models. Because the Sanctuary infrared saunas use a glass front and ceiling in the design, the dimensions are slightly larger to support the frame. While the size difference isn't noticeable during the sauna experience, making sure of the measurements is critical when it comes to installing the infrared sauna in your home.
Which type of sauna is best?
When it comes to choosing a sauna, the most important thing is to decide what features are most important to you. Do you want a sauna with full-spectrum infrared heating, or just a standard far-infrared sauna? Are you looking for added features like chromotherapy and remote control? How large do you want your sauna to be and do you want an indoor sauna or an outdoor sauna?
Once you've answered these questions, you can start to narrow down your choices. If you're looking for an infrared sauna with full-spectrum infrared heat, the Clearlight® Sanctuary Sauna is a great option. If you're looking for a sauna with traditional sauna looks, the Clearlight® Premier Sauna is a good choice. With any Clearlight® infrared sauna you can rest assures that with every sauna session you'll be receiving the most health benefits with the ultimate sauna experience.
